Divine Deliverance - All Powerful

Week Five, Day Five

April 5, 2019

Jesus, God incarnate, is omnipotent. He has all-powerful authority, and we see much of His power displayed in His miracles.

Ephesians 1:18-23 says, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”

We know that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness, and we know He has authority. If God can give sight to the blind, bring the dead to life, and has all authority over the Heavens and Earth, why do we doubt His power in our situations?

There are a few practical things to remember. If you trust in His character and His Word, you believe in His power, you pray within His will, and you declare to Him that you need a miracle, He will show up.

No matter who you are, chances are you’d benefit from a miracle or two. Do you believe He is still the God of miracles? What can you bring Him today? You decide.

Almighty Lord, thank you for your authority and divinity. Let us not ever forget what you’re capable of. We seek you for comfort, but Lord we also seek you for results. We bring an expectation of your movement. A faith in your fortitude. Confidence in your power. You know our situation and we know that you hear our prayer! Lord, we adore you. Amen.
