Divine Deliverance - Never Changing

Week Five, Day Three

April 3, 2019

t's so brilliant that God created seasons of change. I don't just mean the graceful and temperate nudge of cold days to warmer mornings, or even the emotional impact of songs of joy that fill the air when the world decides it's time to embrace a season of thanks and blessings.

I mean the seasons in life that we personally define ourselves by. Boy, do these seasons draw us nearer to Him? There are times when we are so used to our daily lives that we fail to praise Him, and when a season of struggle emerges we may glide further into ourselves. But these hills and valleys are significant moments in our walk with God. If you allow yourself to seek God in the scary seasons, you'll notice that as your circumstances change, He is always the same. He is the God who was, and is, and is to come. You aren't on your own. He's always been there and He always will be.

Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

You can either hold out for joy as the tides of life ebb and flow, or you can praise Jesus in the season your in. You decide.

Everlasting Lord, you bless our souls with your consistency. We are so thankful that no matter what life brings today, Your character and divinity doesn't change. You are everlasting, never-failing, and always the same. You love us the same as you did yesterday, and God we are thankful for it. Amen.
